Job Description

Main responsibility areas:


Identify individual targets in coordination with immediate superior and perform work professionally with loyalty and integrity.
Prepare and work on contracts /agreements including- drafting new contacts, amending existing contract forms, bringing contract provisions in line with legislative requirements, maintaining correspondence related to contract terms and conditions and ensure they comply with all statutory or legal requirements.
Liaise with relevant departments to identify the legal risks and ensure that appropriate action has been taken.
Generalize and analyze company’s current practice of contracts/agreements execution and compliance therewith, the results of claims consideration, proposes improvements.
Make and improvise the contract’s template to comply with the new legal developments.
Review and provide legal advice on the contracts /tender documents.
Translate the legal documents from English to Nepali and vice versa.

Your qualification and experience:

Minimum of Bachelor degree in Law.
Minimum of 2 Years of experience in the corporate & commercial legal field of jurisprudence and preference will be given to those candidates who have experience in preparation of contracts both in English and Nepali.

Your profile:


Should have Advocate license.
Should have command in both English and Nepali.
Ability to deal with stakeholders
Good understanding & preparation of .different agreements and legislation.
Good knowledge of contract drafting and management skills.
Should be flexible with working time.
Planning skills and effective result orientate.
Advanced PC user.
Good Knowledge on Legislative and other normative acts of Nepal as well as current legislative practice.
Qualified and good knowledge of judiciary acts and bodies.
