Khan was also appointed goodwill ambassador of UNICEF in the programme held at Hotel Yak and Yeti in Kathmandu on Thursday.Khan said that he will continuously work to eliminate malnutrition from Nepal as well as all SAARC countries.
The initiative was termed "1000 Golden Days" as the first 1000 days of a child's life. It is imperative for mothers to breastfeed their children during this period.
