Looking at the statistics of 2014, the year was recognized as the hottest year.
Every year people eat 23 crore ton of meat and it is doubling every year. Domestic animals raised for meat like chicken, cow etc need a lot of water and food. And these animals release harmful methane gases and also create a lot of pollution.
The gas released from the waste of these animals affects air and water by 185 and it is not less. It is more than the effect caused by cars and industries in the world. It directly affects the atmosphere and makes the ozone layer thinner which makes harmful sun rays enter the earth.
2. High use of land:
The world population has been expected to reach 3 arab in 80 years. At the time consumption of meat products will also double. And a study has revealed that animal farming requires 20% more land than agriculture.
The use of land for grazing and raising animals is increasing. And only 30% of earth is land which is live able. With the world popular growing the land required for animals raring is also increasing. In just 50 years earth will have nothing more than houses for humans and animals.

Goats or chicken people use water for their survival and growth. In a research it was found that agriculture requires hundred times less water than producing meat. And 1000 liters of water is required to produce a liter of milk.
Pig needs a lot of water and 29 crore liters of water is required in an average American farm with 80 thousand pigs.
4. Air pollution:
You might know what foul smell is produced if you live near an animal farm. Different kinds of harmful gases like carbon dioxide, methane and many other gases are produced there. The most dangerous gas is ammonia gas which plays a very important role in acid rain and these gas also have negative effect on the ozone layer.
5. Source of diseases:
Animal wastes have different kinds of germs like salmonella, e coli, fecal coliform etc which can easily transmit into human body. And different antibiotics is also used to develop and animal which makes animals strong but also produces stronger and more dangerous bacteria. If these bacteria enter into human body, it will be very hard to treat.
Similarly thousands of people die every year because of diseases caused by eating meat. Consuming meat of animals raised with excess medicines can result in heart diseases, debates, cancer etc. which are very dangerous diseases.
