The Red Paper Bridge in the Grisedale Valley

Loading...
Grisedale valley is in UK, and at the head of Grisedale Valley there you will see a paper bridge which is red in color and that special piece of art or say work was done by the very talented and great artist Steve Messam who was from Teesdale. He took 3 years to develop this bridge that started to function fully and the dog walkers has tried walking over it out. This amazing construction has used no glue, bolts or any type of fixing to hold it up, in short we can say that it has nothing to stick within each other or to hold each paper.

This bridge is made on the small river of Grisedale Valley which is made out of 22,000 pieces of red papers. This bridge is red in color so it is named as The Red Paper Bridge. This bridge weighs over 4 tones and was constructed using the similar architectural design that is found in original packhorse bridge which can be seen all over the district of lake. Many people have tried it if that will hold their weight or not and no doubt it hold the weight of the people out there. In this video we can see the red paper bridge which is over the small river of Grisedale Valley.
